Workers with Portland's Public Services Department today guided a Colorado blue spruce into position for the holidays in Portland's Monument Square.

The tree came from 495 St. John Street in Portland and was trucked to Monument Square by Shaw Brothers. A crane from Keeley Crane Services lowered the tree into place.

The tree will be decorated with lights on Thursday and will be lit the day after Thanksgiving.
